Strip Avid Crap

Strip Avid Crap is a Python script for Flame 2023.1 and above that renames sequences en masse, removing the ".Exported.01" crap that Avid Media Composer spews onto the ends of sequence names. It also renames clips in those sequences, removing ".sync.01" and ".new.01" that result from sync-grouped clips, decomposed sequences, etc.

Select any combination of libraries, reels folders containing sequences or individual sequences themselves, right-click, run Strip Avid Crap and boom—you're done!
